Chapter 1: A Boy Under The Starry Night

My name is Abel, and on this quiet starry night I was training hard in the fields beside Bennett Castle, a safe and rich land at the southern edge of the Duchy of Carmel.

Bennett Castle stood tall over the flat plains like a guardian. This land belonged to the Knight of Bennett, and the king himself had given it to him. It sat at the southernmost part of the duchy, near the border of the Earth-Dividing Mountain Range. It was far from war, and because of that, it was one of the duchy’s most important grain lands.

It was summer, and the crops were growing well. Whenever the cool night wind passed through, the whole field moved together like it was dancing, showing just how prosperous this land was.
