Althea found herself kilometers away from where she originally was, closer to the other gate. She received a report of which side had the more powerful monsters, and she headed straight there.

She could only gain experience from weaker monsters if they were no more than two levels below her (which, she felt, was really unfair). So she had to find monsters with levels seventeens through nineteens to make the subsequent mana use worthwhile.
