First of these was the Burst potion, which worked similarly to the empowering Berserk potion, which Grandmasters could already make. People knew this as the potion that could allow a person to go beyond their usual limit, or to maximize their power, for a short period of time.

However, instead of targeting someone's ability to capture a huge amount of aether for a moment, the Burst Potion was inspired by how adrenaline worked. It was designed to allow a person to temporarily push through their limits for several minutes.

It worked best for people level fifteen through thirty.
