The trio stood back-to-back, defensive, eyes looking guardedly at the new creatures that appeared.

It wasn't a single group this time. One group was composed of about seven animals, they were as huge as a bear but with the head of a long-nosed lion.

The other group was even larger in number, about fifteen or so, and they looked like green giant rats with short tails.
