Based on the Red Dragon's innate ability to appraise treasures, every scale on the Red Dragon's body is worth at least several thousand Gold Coins now. Selling all these old scales would turn Karon into a wealthy dragon.
However, Karon wouldn't waste such treasures. Ordinary Gold Coins can already be easily obtained by him without resorting to selling dragon scales, and the gains far exceed such actions.
He plans to keep these dragon scales to later create medals or special Proof of Glory, rewarding those who have made significant contributions to the Giant Dragon Territory and the kingdom.
