Karon lay on the trunk of the World Tree. Although the World Tree had been dead for countless years, its remnants still contained traces of the once vast flow of life energy.
Karon, more than those mages focused on exploration, seemed like an explorer himself. No matter what it was, he was filled with curiosity and a desire to explore all unknowns, possibly because as a Giant Dragon, he was brimming with endless energy.
This was also the reason why Karon mastered the knowledge of magic and other skills so quickly over the years.
