Karon no longer knew how long he had lingered in this desolate Spiritual World; his perception of time was in a constant state of flux.
At times, he even felt he had experienced countless years, yet the next second, he’d feel as though he’d just set foot into this realm.
This extremely skewed and ever-shifting perception, combined with endless solitude, could easily drive a strong-minded person insane. Even Karon, with his firm resolve, felt somewhat fatigued under the prolonged changes in time perception.
