During the major fights that were taking place, the war carried on, and the main leaders in pushing forward were the Crimson Crane. They were able to target the key members of the Empire that were using the items from Alter.
In some cases, they had destroyed the generals completely; in others, they had used their powerful items against them. In a lot of ways, the items lent by Alter might have been their downfall.
The powerful items were given to the generals. This was typical as it was believed that the strongest and most important members for the war were to be handed them.
