Looking at the battlefield, the warriors spreading out, gathering supplies from the various camps they had set up behind him, he could tell that the battle had truly come to an end. In war, a fight didn't have the result in the entire annihilation on one side.
If anything it took a lot for one side to release that they had lost the fight in order to prevent as many loss of lives as possible. After Raze talked to Lince and the others, they had ordered a few things to take place.
First, the warriors weren't to enter the city beyond the gate wall. The citizens were frightened and there was no reason for them to enter, as the goal wasn't to obtain anything from within.
