Yellum was still in a daze after being struck. It wasn't as if she had never been injured before, she had endured wounds in the past, but ever since gaining this new, tremendous power, she had never been hurt like that.
People feared the unknown. They feared power they couldn't understand.
And what she had just witnessed wasn't magic, it was something entirely different. Still half-stunned, she looked across the battlefield.
