The magic swordsmen were clearly high-level mages, each one equipped with greatly enchanted items. Individually, the others could face them, but it would result in a stalemate, and Raze could already tell that the intimidation tactic he had used when he first entered was starting to wear off.
The Noble Guild mages were adjusting, and that meant it was down to him to end this before the momentum shifted any further.
