There were a few reasons why Raze had chosen the Lightning element to support the technique he was currently using. One of them was that the Lightning attribute was perhaps the fastest casting magic, second only to Wind magic.
It was more explosive, but because of that, it was harder to control. There were added benefits to using Lightning magic though, such as its range, allowing it to hit those around the attack.
In this case, Raze wanted its explosive power and speed, and using it along with a small amount of his Qi meant that he could use the technique many, many times. Raze held the sword with both hands once again, and a loud bang was heard.
