He feels the moment Karn slips into the fort, the alarm of the denizens noticing him almost immediately. Less than ideal, but even getting him into a position to slip inside without being noticed in the first place was no mean feat.
Besides, there's a difference between being noticed and being stopped. He can feel the denizens and ravenkin spotting Karn, even as he can feel them losing him as he slips back into a shadow.
