After the Dongman people occupied Yuguancheng, they subjected the people of Dakang in the south to brutal acts of arson, murder, and looting. The local population was either killed, captured as slaves by the Dongman, or fled south.
This resulted in a near-complete absence of human habitation from Yuguancheng all the way to the Yellow River. According to Jin Feng and Princess Jiu's original plan, after the Northern Expeditionary Force occupied Yuguancheng, they intended to relocate the people southward to the area near the Yellow River.
However, before this could be implemented, the Fourth Prince murdered his father and seized power, plunging Dakang into chaos. Jin Feng and Princess Jiu's relocation plan was thus abandoned.
