Since the "monster" had just flown away, the county magistrate dared not be careless. He rushed to the entrance of the granary and ordered the soldiers and yamen runners to assemble in the open space, preparing to send two people to check inside the granary first.
The county constable walked forward, ready to select the unlucky ones, when he suddenly saw that the soldiers opposite him all looked terrified.
Turning his head, he saw a row of dark figures rushing towards him. Before the county magistrate could see clearly, he was struck by one of the dark figures.
