Jin Feng originally intended to use the wire he made for securing beams when building a house. Last night, while organizing the wire, his palm was pricked, and that's when the idea of using the wire against cavalry came to mind.
He wasn't entirely sure if it would work.
Because the wire had to be made from very low-carbon wrought iron, requiring a high level of craftsmanship, it appeared relatively late in history.
