Seras's mouth fell open in surprise for a moment. Whether it was the alcohol or her earlier decision to be more candid, her expressions were more pronounced now.
The three standing behind her were no different - especially Sir Phaden, who looked as though he was being tossed between ice and fire with each exchange between Ian and the princess. Right now, he looked as cold as ice.
