Ian's body seemed to drop away from Diana's embrace simply.
"Ian! No, this is crazy." Diana gasped, her head snapping down reflexively. She couldn't believe he'd really just let go like that.
In reality, he was just moving away along the ground. But to Diana, hanging there, it felt as if Ian were plummeting off a cliff.
