The chaos-wreathed harpoon slammed into the golden barrier and burst apart on impact. Most of the shards splintered harmlessly against its radiant surface, scattering wide, though a few pinged off his armor.
The strike failed to break through the barrier, pierce his armor, or even fracture his arm. All it did was hurl him backward with sheer force.
