It was impossible to continue arguing with these people who were already agitated; they were likely to become hostile. There were many workers in the workshop who genuinely admired Boss Pryce.
Many of the workers, especially those with families, had openly expressed their affection for Pryce. Their simple values led them to be deeply loyal to those who sincerely cared for them.
Just look at how highly regarded Uriel was in Beiling for his benevolent rule! He hadn't even done as much as Pryce was doing now.
