He stretched out his arms, gazing at the scenery outside the window, feeling a sense of exhilaration he had never experienced before. This was the first time since arriving in this world that he had created a truly "modern" weapon.

This was a weapon he recognized, a weapon he understood! The previous ones, including the needle-firing guns he himself had produced, were actually just vague memories and data retrieved by the system's computer.
