"Mr. Aldridge," the three goblins stood before Pryce, bowing their heads and speaking in a respectful tone, "We apologize for any trouble we've caused."
Pryce disliked this tone; it reminded him of certain sleazy characters from movies, with small mustaches and a tendency to use inverted sentence structures.
He knew these were just stereotypes created by filmmakers, and that most people from those cultures didn't actually speak that way. Nevertheless, he still felt a strong aversion towards anything resembling those stereotypes.
