Reptar reared his arm back and punched Michael in the back of his head. The Crocodile in his gauntlets had its jaws open wide, ready to perform another death claw that would literally shred anything into pieces. Just when he thought he’d gotten Michael once and for all, an invisible prismatic shield manifested above Michael’s head and fought against Reptar’s Crocodile. The gauntlets clashed with the shield, creating sparks made out of mana. Eventually, the power of Reptar’s Diva overpowered the Unity Defense and tore through it for the first time. The gauntlets pushed through towards Michael’s back, but with its power and speed significantly reduced. The tips of Reptar’s fingers brushed with Michael’s clothes, tearing it into shreds. However, Michael finally recovered from shooting the . His body quickly turned into a shadowy gas that escaped further injury from Reptar’s gauntlets. Reptar stumbled forwards, his balance broken by his miss. He fell, staring into the ground with a shocked and confused expression in his face. His Crocodile should have torn through anything it touched! It was the rules of his Aubility! However, Michael’s defensive shield was still able to withstand his gauntlets for a few moments! It may have only lasted for a brief second, but the fact that it was able to defend against an Aubility should have been impossible in the first place! While he was stunned, Michael conjured a magic circle beneath his feet. A giant fist made out of magma shot up and performed an uppercut on Reptar’s entire body, flinging him up into the air. Since the spell was made out of Fire and Earth, those elements got imbued into his body. And right at the peak of his trajectory, Michael created another giant fist, this time made out of Air and Water. The second fist punched Reptar back into the ground, imbuing him with Air and Water mana. The combination of all those four elements created a mini explosion that blasted Reptar back into the ground with tremendous force and power. Reptar smashed into the ground, with his body skidding through soil, rock, and trees before eventually colliding with Erlos. The two of them crashed into a giant boulder, cracking it into half. Meanwhile, Michael reappeared in the air and felt the wind on his back. Reptar was still able to graze him in the end, creating a large gash near his shoulder blades like he had just been in a motorcycle accident that shredded his back. Thankfully though, it was only skin deep. Despite being injured, Michael felt very good about himself. Fighting against these two made him use his powers a lot more efficiently than before. He felt like he was improving. It was at that moment that a sound echoed around him. He quickly turned around, wanting to discern where it came from.
