Chapter 600: Chapter 600: String theory

He deployed his Drone and took out the new and upgraded glasses from its drawer. He quickly put them on, allowing him to see the vision of the Drone as well as his natural eyes. The Drone flew up, with him piloting it at the same time that he was moving his own body. And with its 360 degree camera, he finally saw himself. To activate the Aubility Thermal imaging scan, he instinctively knew what to do. He tapped on his glasses three times, and suddenly, an orange tint descended down into his vision. Instantly, the vision he saw from the Drone turned into a different reality. The world around him was colored with blue to dark violet hues as if they were lifeless. Because they were the same color, they almost blended into each other apart from some outlines that made him see what they actually were. And as he turned his line of sight towards himself, he saw a bright orange to yellow light emanating from his chest. His heart, in particular, was glowing like the sun. Not only that, but there were glowing orange lines coming from his heart and out towards the iron switch and the reverse graphite block. This was the invisible connection they had with each other! So that’s Aubility Power! There was a steady stream of Aubility Power coming from his heart and supplying his technological blocks with enough energy to continue its altering of reality. Seeing this now made him extremely happy. He finally saw Aubilities down to their natural form! He piloted the Drone to come closer towards the technological blocks. First, he observed the switch. He saw that the leaf it was attached to was being coated with some kind of orange glowing bubble. This made it easy to identify which objects were affected by an Aubility. He then went over to the reverse graphite block and saw the same thing. There was a bubble of protection around the leaf, allowing it to be unaffected by the rules of reality. He piloted the Drone to really come close to the Aubilities and see the red hot ’stream’ up close and personal. There wasn’t a zoom option for the camera on his Drone, but he did see that the red hot streams of Aubility Power were made out of some kind of strings. The individual strings were identical to each other and were flowing out with the same speed and trajectory as the others. It wasn’t a straight string either. It looked random, as if a single string of yarn was dropped to the floor and made some weird curves and loops on the ground. He then moved towards the other stream of Aubility Power and saw that it was also made out of some kind of glowing orange string. But this time, the strings were bent, looped, and knotted in a completely different way than the first one. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to conclude that the different strings was probably what allowed each Aubility to be a different power from each other. So, Aubilities are made up of Aubility Power or AP. And AP are made up of millions of tiny strings arranged in a specific shape. It was safe to assume that each Aubility had a specific shape that the strings conformed to. This meant that if he wanted to replicate the ’Quantum Leap’ that Harbinger performed, then he needed to figure out two things: First, he needed to figure out the specific shape of string that the ’Quantum Leap’ conformed to. And second, he needed to figure out how to get his GodForge pieces to produce that kind of string in the Aubility Power. It sounded very simple, but he was completely clueless on how to do that. He knew the formula, but he didn’t know how the math worked. He closed his eyes again and entered the void in his mind, returning to see Harbinger’s gigantic figure towering over him. If I could take my Drone here and observe the Aubility Power coming from Harbinger, then I’d be able to solve my first problem.
