Chapter 615: Chapter 615: Strongest in Metropolis
Many thought Michael wouldn’t last a few minutes in the game. But now, he had outlasted almost half of the players! "He’s teaming up with the Legacies. That’s good." "Look, they already have five flags! The Legacies just need two more before they win!" "It really comes down to who wins: Alaric or Potbol." Alaric raised his hand, with his ring glowing with a violet hue. This was his Mithril Relic, and one that was just a few scratches away from being considered as a Mithril Artifact. It was one of the best weapons to get in terms of their purity in the olden age. The chain slithered through his sleeve and floated out in the open, wrapping around him like a protective snake. As Alaric gathered the Aubility Power in his weapons, his Diva began to manifest. The air above his head shimmered, showing the projection of a majestic black butterfly whose wings looked to be made out of glass. The intricate pattern around it showed circular patterns, some concentric and some converging towards each other. Opposite him, Potbol raised his hand and pointed the giant battle axe at his opponent. And just like Alaric, Potbol gathered the Aubility Power in his hands and began to manifest the Diva hidden inside him. The image of a giant tree, one that looked to be taller than any mountain in the world. Its roots were numerous, extending down deep into the very crevices of the land. As for its branches, it was upturned, with leaves numbering in the millions. "Finally. A worthy opponent," Potbol said, waving his battle axe. "You will be a good measure to see how my training has done me well." "Likewise," Alaric nodded. Suddenly, Potbol’s body disappeared. And in an instant, he was already right in front of Alaric with his axe swinging from the side and intending to cleave him in half. But at the same time, Alaric’s chain whipped forward, hitting the battle axe away from him. The collision of two 9th stage powers created a shockwave that permeated throughout the whole base. Just the wind itself almost knocked a few people over. Even Michael’s drones were knocked off their course. "Damn," Dicky cursed. "Even though there’s only two stages away from me, why do I feel like the gap between us is like heaven and earth? I’m going to get injured just being near their fight!" Michael couldn’t help but agree. The amount of AP that they released during that one singular clash, without using their main Aubility, was so strong that it charged his batteries by 0.1% already. Both of them were in the peak of the Body Formation realm. And he was not delusional enough to think that he could ever stand a chance against one of them in his current state. Sure, he could probably escape with his ’Quantum Step’, but that would only last as long as he had enough charge. As for injuring them, that was a pipe dream. The gap was simply way too big.
