This dragon was the Phantasmal Beast of Lightning! A Primordial Rank monster that existed within lightning storms and was responsible for the loud echoes of thunder that arrived after a lightning strike!
It travelled across worlds using the lightning within storms, and it had only been moving through this world when it gained a sudden urge to kill Jason! The beast didn't fully understand why it felt that urge, but the reason didn't matter!
It was a Primordial Rank being, and when it felt the urge to kill some mere mortals, then that was exactly what it would do!
