The elves were very calm and peaceful people, and even though they were celebrating, that same calmness could still be seen in the way they did things! Many of the elves were either sitting in treetops with their loved ones and talking in calm voices or walking across the forest grounds while laughing and enjoying the festivities.
There were glowing orange balls of light flying around the forest to brighten the darkness. The balls of light were actually magical house pets known as Knolls that had a similar ability to fireflies, which allowed them to glow in the dark, and the elven children could be seen flying through the air to chase down some of the balls with large sticks.
All across the trees, there were various decorations and hanging lanterns that released pleasant natural incense around the forest. The festival stretched all the way from the Central Forest out towards the main castle, and people could be seen moving around the castle grounds and chatting happily with one another while a gentle elven band played a beautiful song while floating on a large disk of light to one side of the castle grounds.
