In the center of the inner chamber was a recliner where the Queen could relax, but the person sitting there right now didn't look anything like the confident Queen Jamat had once known. Queen Diane looked like a mess.
Her hair was scattered, and her clothes were dirty. She was sitting with her head bowed, but Jamat could tell that the look in her eyes would show nothing but pure rage!
Diane's entire body was so tense that Jamat knew she was just a moment away from lashing out at anything around her, and even though Jamat understood why she was like this, that was no excuse for her to treat their servants so disrespectfully.
