Many didn't know exactly what had happened, so when they noticed the emergency alarms, they didn't go directly to Caleb's house, which had generated those signals.

Some moved toward the sect's core, while others remained in position, waiting for word from the sect's leadership. Vicente wasn't being hunted yet, so he moved, using what little mana he had left to hide his movements.
