Jenna was startled, and seeing him come out of thin air, she realized that the queen must have given him at least the Master access to this castle. She knew only with such privileged access could one teleport anywhere within this castle.
But why would the queen give such special access to this good-for-nothing cripple? Jenna couldn't think of any reason but seeing him talk and the way his dark yellow eyes were no longer lifeless as before made her feel like she wasn't looking at the same person.
