After a much needed rest, Lex woke up to the sound of shuffling and moving. At first, he didn't pay much attention to it as he yawned and tried to summon the energy to get up.
But then, all of a sudden, it occurred to him that the sound was way too close.
He jolted up to find a small clump of humanoid shape of leaves munching through some of the dry rations from Lex's backpack.
