When the group heard the pups barking they immediately moved to the area they heard it from, yet the pup was nowhere in sight when they appeared. Perhaps if anyone else were taunting them like this, the group would have been more upset, or possibly even completely enraged.
But since the perpetrator was Fenrir, they somehow found it quite cute, and even silently wished him some encouragement.
Like this, slowly but steadily, the group began to move closer to the Midnight tavern.
