Once the Midnight battalion had returned, and stories of what they experienced spread out among the other works, through Velma's comics of course, many of them felt horrible for not being able to help them. It was never their fault, of course, since the number for the battalion was limited.
But nevertheless it had a massive effect on the entire staff.
