For some time afterward, Qin Heng and Qin Zhan would send people over every few days. Sometimes it was tiger-head dolls that children would like; sometimes it was exquisite pearl flowers that were perfect for little girls; and sometimes it was a box of freshly made pastries that were soft, chewy, and very fragrant.
The two seemed to be competing with each other in secret, but more than anything, they genuinely cared for their younger sister who had suffered a lot outside, and racked their brains to do good for her.
However, the effect was not very obvious.
