Six colossal space fortresses, along with Albert himself, were completely enveloped in intense space jump fluctuations before the firepower of the nest's frenzied counterattack could reach them. They didn't vanish gradually, but rather disappeared instantly, like being erased from the picture, leaving no trace for pursuit.
When the nest's violent energy torrents, spirit spikes, and space distortion beams swept over, they vainly reached at emptiness, stirring the already broken void into greater chaos, unable to capture a single trace of the enemy. And in that dead void, the once massive and hideous Level six Nest had already changed beyond recognition.
Nearly one-third of its body had disappeared, as if bitten off savagely by an invisible giant mouth. The remaining part was riddled with large craters, tearing wounds, and marks of burning and collapse, chaotic energy leaking constantly from the wounds like a dying man's blood.
